Gadhu Gathering kicks off next week at Allianz Stadium

Next week, Allianz Stadium will welcome the first-ever Gadhu Gathering – a three-day celebration of rugby league, live music and culture from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 August 2025.

Across the weekend, six Sydney-based NRL clubs will take the field on Gadigal/Bidjigal land, with Round 24 matches complemented by cultural performances, community activities and a line-up of celebrated music acts.

The entertainment program features Baker Boy, 3Three Percent and Becca Hatch, performing between matches alongside traditional ceremonies and showcases from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.

A packed weekend of footy and entertainment:

Friday 15 August – Sydney Roosters vs Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs

Baker Boy will light up half-time, with the evening also featuring the Indigenous Champion Jersey presentation by Roosters legends Kevin & Terry Stevens, plus performances from Gamay Dancers and KARI Singers.

Saturday 16 August – South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Parramatta Eels

3Three Percent set the stage before kick-off, joined by Mini League teams La Perouse United, Redfern All Blacks and Deadly Choices, plus performances from Millie Mills, the Glen for Men and Women, and more.

Sunday 17 August – Wests Tigers vs Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles

Becca Hatch headlines the closing day with cultural performances from Tharawal Aboriginal Corporation’s Dance Group and Muggera Kunjil, alongside the 2025 Wests Tigers Indigenous Jersey presentation.
